  1. Yeah brother! Now I know what you were talking about Sunday. He definitely seems like a new man, and he really is learning a lot. You can see him thinking a lot of times. :) Man, I wish you could have been there when Jason and Shawn and I were talking when we first got up Saturday morning. Good times! I really appreciate listening to him preach, and seeing his perspective on how to reach the lost. I also really appreciated that point where you said - "So you repent from your former ways of denying God, to now proclaiming God." Absolutely! Like you or Shawn was preaching on that day from Mark 8:38 - "For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels." Like how could you have the Holy Spirit and not love God's words, and how could you not preach against sin like Jesus did and proclaim His gospel and His truth, and not look for new stuff for ourselves to learn, and how could you not want to see justice restored and God set everything right again, and not look forward to Heaven with God and not want to reach the lost around you who really need to repent as much as we did and still do. I didn't see Shawn before, and I don't know his personal life that well yet, but he sure seems like God is changing him completely and it's awesome! Like I have some brothers I wish were really changed like him. So I just keep praying, and I trust that God will grab a hold of them somehow at some point. When you allow your heart to become humble and listening, and you receive the Word of God and allow it to go in deep and puts its roots in deep, and you take out the weeds one at a time of the cares of this world and distractions and selfishness and pride, then the gospel really grows inside of you and changes everything. It's good! We have a lot to look forward to! It takes time, it takes a lot of hard work and a lot of struggles and fighting, but in the end, it's going to be an incredible outcome and great glory to God for how He worked all of these things! So we keep on. I love you brother! - Paul
